As a cruel tease to sneaker enthusiasts who have been craving a return of the “Taxi” Air Jordan 12, the good folks at Jordan Brand decided to bring forth the “Royalty” Air Jordan 12.
To say that the “Royalty” is visually reminiscent to the Taxi I would be a profound understatement as the similarities completely dwarf the near minuscule differences. The few aforementioned differences are the side plastic tabs, coloration on the tongue and rear branding as well as on the outsole.
The “Not Taxi”, errr “Royalty” Air Jordan 12 is planned to release October 9 at nike.com and select retail venues. They will carry a 190 USD sticker price.
